  • Who can apply for the Piano Awards?
  • Anyone at all! Individuals can nominate any school or community-based venue, or other location you believe would benefit from being awarded a Yamaha piano. Individuals cannot be the recipient of the piano, nor can an individual nominate more than one venue.

    You can nominate the school where you teach or attend, your child’s school, a local hall or theatre where you may work or attend events… Or just a local community venue that you believe would benefit most from being awarded a new Yamaha piano.

  • What kind of piano will be awarded?
  • A 121cm upright piano, made entirely in Japan, will be awarded for each state and the Northern Territory.

    Grand pianos are not available as an award through this program, however please find your closest Yamaha Piano dealer to discuss your grand piano requirements.

  • How do I apply for the Yamaha Piano Awards?
  • Simply apply by following the simple registration process.

  • Where will the pianos be awarded?
  • All across Australia! Yamaha will award one piano per state and the Northern Territory to a school or community-based venue.

  • When do applications open?
  • Applications are NOW open so please send your video and application form to:

    Hurry! Applications close 23rd October 2009 with the winners in each State and Northern Territory being announced January 27th November 2009. Arrangements for piano delivery will be made in early 2010.
