Starlight Children’s Foundation

Yamaha Music Australia supplied the Starlight Children’s Foundation with a new YPT200 keyboard and P70 stage piano for their Starlight Express Room at the Mater Children’s Hospital in Brisbane.

The Starlight Express Room is a place where the children go to escape the pain and stress of hospitalisation. The children use this room to relax or to have fun and spend time with the very entertaining Captain Starlight. The room has a range of musical instruments available to the children to play with while visiting.

Starlight currently has six Starlight Express Rooms in major paediatric hospitals across Australia. Each room is fully interactive with the hospital wards while having its own distinctive look. It offers an inviting, non-medical environment that's completely different from the rest of the hospital.
